NexTag Testing New “Purchases” Column?

It appears that NexTag is trying out a new feature that is currently only found on Internet Explorer when a merchant is logged in. The Purchases column is found between the Seller Ratings and Description columns and supposedly displays the purchase rate for the product compared to other sellers.

NexTag Purchases Column

My question is: where is NexTag getting this information? Sure, there is a script merchants can install to measure sales and return-on-investment (ROI), but my company does not have that script installed and we were ranked on that list.

Take a look at the screen grab. I’d be interested in any information readers can offer.

    Hi John,

Came across your blog and see that you have referenced comparisonengines.com in your blogroll… comparisonengines is sort of a “sister” site to singlefeed.com and is run by our CEO Brian Smith. Thanks for the link! I am always interested in talking with people in the ecommerce space. What’s more, I am located in Portland and head up SingleFeed’s client services team here. I would love to chat more with you as you seem interested in the comparison shopping space!
